Beer Diamonds?!
Beer Diamonds. More than a decade ago, someone came up with the term "blood-diamonds". The term referred to black market sales of some diamonds in West Africa that were funding armed conflict. This did happen, but at a very small fraction of the world market, about 3% at the time. I understand it is even less now. Our diamond agents, however, make it a point to secure fine diamonds from Canada and Australia only. This means that funds spent on diamonds at our establishment may be likely to fund the purchase of a beer or two. That makes them conflict free, and even more awesome! G'day, eh?!
